Once upon a time...................
No one brought those words to life better than Walt Disney. Through the years he wove a tapestry of tales; the legacy he left us made us believe our prince really would come some day; that if we believed hard enough a wooden puppet could come to life; and that the beauty of the soul could shine through the most beastly exterior.
But most of all, he taught us to believe in our dreams, our wishes, ourselves. He knew the value of following your dream. He wished upon a star and followed it down the path of imagination. His star would lead him to the first sound cartoon, the first full length animated movie, and all the way to Disneyland.

Our dreams were the soil in which Walt planted the seeds of romance. He watered our wishes with music that could turn unspoken longing into a lilting possibility. He sprinkled pixie dust on our fears, and for a little while at least, we would never grow up, never grow old, never lose our dreams.

And we dream those dreams still..............

So here's to happy endings
And love sweeping you away.
To a sunrise full of promise
After a dark and dreary day.

Here's to happily ever after
To salvation in a kiss.
No heart should miss the thrill
Of a fairy tale love like this.

Here's to you and me, Love
And the power that lets you see
That no gilded crown can match
The love I have for Thee.
